’High on Your Love’ – the new single from Fireworx

’High on Your Love’ is the second single from Swedish electro pop duo Fireworx. Released November 23.

‘High on Your Love’ gives you another shot of Fireworx’s trademark mix of sadness and hope in a song that makes you emotional AND want to dance. As with their first single, Nothing Without You’, Fireworx are channelling the sounds of many 80s synth bands but have evolved their influences into a more electro-pop suite.

Fireworx is a collaboration between Leo Josefsson (Us, Lowe, Statemachine) and Sebastian Karlsson (soloartist, Nåden).
Sebastian and Leo met for the first time in 2008 (when Leo was editing the video for Sebastian’s ’My Getaway’).
It would take until 2012 before they met again in Leo’s studio in Stockholm.

This would eventually result in the ignition of Fireworx, but they both had to go a long way before that could happen.

Sebastian’s career kickstarted with his participation in Idol in 2005. His debut album ’Sebastian’ and associated singles sold platina and got rave reviews.

Lowe released three albums: ’Tenant’ (2004), ’Kino International’ (2009), ’Evolver’ (2011) and toured in North America and Eastern Europe during 2004-2012. Since then he has been producing music for The Mobile Homes, Tilly & Elliphant and his own electro pop duo Us (together with Andrew Montgomery). He’s also a respected video director and has worked with Kent, Miriam Bryant, Eric Saade and Smith & Thell, and has technical direction credits for Rihanna, Robyn and Salem Al Fakir.
